SPECIALIST SUPPORT FOR ORGANISATIONAL TRANSITION
Paul Doherty is a leading organisational development specialist and transition facilitator in the voluntary, statutory and international development sectors. Using a comprehensive consulting framework developed during the course of more than 25 years’ successful engagement in organisational capacity-building, Paul works to bring about constructive change in organisations whose purpose is to bring about constructive change in the world.
Paul’s career has encompassed training, group facilitation, programme management, executive leadership, organisational research, academic teaching, organisational development consulting, professional supervision, coaching, conflict management and the promotion of workplace wellbeing. He served as Training Officer with Gloucestershire Health Education Services, Country Representative for Nepal with Oxfam UK/Ireland, Programme Manager with Avondhu Local Development Partnership, Director with The Social and Health Education Project (SHEP) and Leadership Development Manager with Genio. He was awarded a PhD for his research on governance and leadership and was a part-time lecturer and external examiner at University College Cork.
With more than 15 years’ consulting experience, Paul has developed significant contextual awareness in the fields of disability, mental health, dementia, childcare, social inclusion and international development.
